WHAT IS STEINBERG PLUS?
Steinberg Plus is a real ‘plus’ if you own one of our UR-C series audio interfaces. Why Plus? Because we give you a great selection of VST instruments and VST sound loop sets for free. It is Steinberg’s way of thanking you for your investment in the best interface family they’ve ever made.
Steinberg Plus content changes regularly – currently, you will receive the Groove Agent SE, HALion Sonic SE, Anima and Retrologue instruments, as well as the Indie Rock, Ambient Lounge and Progressive House sound loop sets.
ANIMA
The Anima wavetable synthesizer for HALion comes with hundreds of cutting-edge synth sounds for modern electronic productions. It features two wavetable oscillators, a flexible modulation section and a powerful arpeggiator. It crossfades the waves smoothly in real-time, based on an integrated wavetable envelope. Each oscillator features a multi-oscillator that allows you to create up to eight additional voices. Anima includes two monophonic LFOs that can be synchronized to the host tempo.
HALION SONIC SE
With a massive sample content library, powerful synthesizer engines and effects, HALion Sonic SE is a remarkably versatile sound production tool. Developed for both studio and stage, it is equipped with an easy-to-use interface, intuitive workflow and an extremely stable audio engine, meaning you can focus solely on being creative. HALion Sonic SE 3 is a stripped-down version of HALion Sonic, without compromising on sound quality and accessibility. The streamlined VST workstation lets you load and play a plethora of sound content - this includes the SE libraries that ship with Steinberg’s digital audio workstations, VST sound instrument sets for HALion and the custom user libraries created within the HALion sampler and sound creation system. HALion Sonic SE 3 is available as a plug-in for any VST3, VST2, AU and AAX-compatible host and as a stand-alone application for macOS and Windows.
GROOVE AGENT SE
Possibly the most comprehensive drum production software ever produced, Groove Agent features a huge library of stunning samples, grooves and patterns, as well as a full virtual mixer and FX suite for even more creative options. Groove Agent SE features an exceptionally powerful beat production toolkit, ready to help you create the best rhythms, whatever genre you’re working in. Produce floor-shaking sounds and dancefloor-filling grooves with an array of incredible sample manipulation tools, FX, slice editors and much more. Thanks to its deep integration, you will be able to see the instruments mapped automatically as drum maps into the Drum Editor and Beat Designer. Groove Agent SE is available as a plug-in for any VST3, VST2, AU and AAX-compatible host and as a stand-alone application for macOS and Windows.
RETROLOGUE
The flexible, intuitive Retrologue emulates the warmth and fatness of classic analog synthesizers. But it is much more than a tribute to the classic analog heavyweights of the past. Three virtual analog oscillators and a first-class set of filters produce a wealth of rich, inspiring sounds: from raw analog lead and bass sounds to ephemeral, delicate pads and structures, dark drones and ultra-aggressive comps. Its adaptable arpeggiator, powerful modulation system and FX rack help make Retrologue the first choice for producers everywhere

Ambient Lounge is a slow-to-mid tempo loop collection for modern-day ambient productions. Jazzy, real-world percussion and organic basses collide with mellow bells and dub-drenched textures to provide a truly soulful sound
